UNIVERSAL CREDIT RESPONSE
The Partner Network has undertaken work to understand the barriers to access the Fund faced by clients who are applying for Universal Credit. The Fund is keen to be responsive to these issues as the roll out continues. The Fund will work closely with partners to overcome any identified barriers, especially for vulnerable clients during these waiting periods.
Thank you to all the partner organisations who have been communicating and working with the partnership manager to provide case studies and examples to highlight the challenges faced by clients, and thank you to Citizens Advice Cymru for inviting the partnership manager to represent the Fund at the recent roundtable event on Universal Support.
