At Neath Port Talbot CVS we are pleased to introduce the Big Lottery funded Link Up Project.

The Link Up Project is a Regional pilot project which aims to provide an innovative approach to strengthen and enhance the skills and governance of third sector groups in our local Communities.

The aim of the project is to utilise the skills of expert volunteer mentors recruited from Private sector, Public sector and Education to support and develop Trustees and Community organisations by recruiting and matching mentors with individuals and groups.

The three year project has been developed to empower and bolster/reinforce third sector organisations to continue to operate and grow in a difficult and challenging economic environment. Across the Region 150 mentors and new trustees will be identified and recruited and 120 third sector organisations will benefit from engagement in the project’s activities.

The official project launch will be in March 2018 and the project will be delivered in Partnership with Swansea CVS and BAVO.

Liane Bartlett, Neath Port Talbots ‘Link Up’ Project Development Officer will be visiting and meeting with Neath Port Talbot member organisations to discuss the project. Meanwhile if you would like to register your interest in the project, or find out more now please contact Liane Bartlett at Neath Port Talbot CVS on01639631246/ lianeb@nptcvs.org.uk
