Richard Phipps, Regional Manager Central East at Keep Wales Tidy said:
“2017 has been a busy year for us so far, we have supported over 14,000 volunteers remove 4,200 tonnes of waste from communities and green spaces. Grow Your Tenner provides a brilliant opportunity for us to bring in funds and engage with our supporters.
All donations make a huge difference and, with the added bonus of doubled donations, we hope the people of Wales will get involved and support our passionate volunteers to help keep Wales beautiful.
Even an additional £100 of funding would enable us to organise an event to clean up a community.”
